RVR = Realm vs. Realm
Buffbots = Clerics that are specialized in the player-enhancement spell line. Usually parked in a portal keep while the players they've buffed up are off fighting in RVR.

oh, and speaking of satire in multiplayer online games...

check out www.redvsblue.com for some of the funniest sh.t ever. there are 15 episodes. basically a satire on a Halo-based character/game system... but all done with some very funny voiceovers. make sure to check out the PSA, and the Apple-switch vids too. :D
