E I saw that Whitney scored on the stream too and I was thinking how do they know that will happen? :lol: Tonguing Ray's ear. :lol: Whatever it takes. :lol:

Thanks ya'll for the 'audio' of the horrid Panther feed- when they got the 5 on 3, Hub said, I'm muting this jerk. So we just saw the sequence and the goal. :lol:

That was barely tolerable (the FLA feed) but another gutsy win. I didn't like the sit back and try and hang on to the lead thing, and I was just sure #12 was gonna score with those last few seconds left, but a win's a win.

Funny, I thought our game against the Rangers on Versus was pretty darn good, caught alot of people's attention for sure.

Now the Sens are coming into town- all happy with the way they're currently playing and on a wnning streak. We need #77 to put them right back in their place. ;)

After having to listen to this horrid Florida announcers, I hate this team even more than I have. With Stillman diving and officially becoming on of them, I hope this team doesn't make the playoffs.

My fantasy is to have these Mofos miss by one point so for the next 5 years they can beatch and say the Eaves goal shouldn't have counted because the Canes had 9 guys on the ice. And if that goal didn't count they would have won in regulation.

Okay, I'm not one to gloat over this kind of stuff, and I'm not doing that, I'm stunned.

I was over at ch.com looking at the photo gallery (http://hurricanes.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=MediaGalleryPlayer&galleryId=10900).

Look at the picture of Jussi, I think it's picture #5. This was a game that was never more than 2 goals out of reach, with serious playoff implications, do-or-die for the home team, and take a look at the empty seats.

That's just staggering.

It's really irritating because our attendance issues are not even in the same league with that but, we'll always get lumped right in.

before the game I typed in a long rant about how much nothing stillman has been doing and again proclaim my belief that his doing nothing for us this year would probably have meant a half dozen more wins at least and that he was going to kill us again tonight.

then during the second intermission all I could think was that cory was not going to come out flat in the third. damn. he is all that and a bag of chips sometimes. he was on the puck all game.

sucks to give away a playoff implicating point to the panthers with that late 5-on-3, but Ward made some great plays to get us even in that position.

So, I watch this big highlights package (Ice Pix, I think it was) on NHL Network and see all those Ovechkin hits and it's really just hilarious to me that you can clearly see that he leaves his feet on very nearly every freaking hit he lays but no one ever mentions it. Ridiculous.

That was likely the Panthers biggest game in their last 8 years, and that's what they bring in 14,000. Although, I think that number is a bit skewed.

And the announcers kept talking about a playoff like atmosphere. WTF. That atmosphere felt like a preseason atmosphere. No where close to playoff like.
