Anyone going today?? I see the directions, but I hate maps. If anyone is local and can PM me a number or can call me for directions from Dix Campus. Goodness I want to go so bad!! Let me know if its even worth it to go around 11:15?? Thanks Guys!! :D

i can't help you with directions from there, but it is worth going at 11:15...you might not see much of the practice if they decide to quit early (which i think they only did once last week), but you will at least have plenty of time for autographs, if that's your thing.

thanks for starting a new thread, btw. don't forget to give us a report if you decide to go! :D

IIIII'MMMM baaaaacccckkkk....LOL!
Practice was awesome, although, 1. In my camera I didnt notice I had 1 picture left, and I took a kinda far away one of Colesy and about 1 min. later O had him pushed in the glass about 3 inches from me...would have been a killer shot dernit!!
2. Didnt really get to spend much time with Jeff O, and Thelmie, but it was so great to finally meet some folks from here, esp. you Mona, since you persuaded me to go, and it was well worth it(but equally and great to meet you too Thelmie ;) ).
3. They just got off the ice to shower when I had to go which means, no autographs  !
Ok enough with the B!@#$ing session. Practice was awesome. They played a little game against each other. O got the last goal and he did his little shrug of the shoulder's like "did I do that", but it was a beautiful goal.
Yes, It was awesome to see Jesse, I would have to say he is right up there with my favorites with ole Colesy. As you can tell I love attitude which they both have alot of...Good and Agressive.. :p !!
Anyway, I really enjoyed my first practice at the RecZone, hope to meet alot of you guys in the future... ;) Most edit 1 more time for good measure...lol!! Cole looked soooo good skating again, havent seen that since last year...phewy!! :D

P.S. Nobody has said anything about my new avater...didnt want to brag, but its awesome....one very cool dude on here made it for me...Thanks again!!! :D

I will probably be there tomorrow if I can get my lazy butt out of bed...

-Kat

Don't you just hate it when your butt gets lazy? It drags around "behind" you! :D Even worse is when your lazy eyes act up at the same time. You crash into things and fall into the toaster which gets jammed and sets the kitchen on fire and then leaping gouts of flame turn your neighbors garden knomes (two, but they look like twelve 'cuz your lazy eyes are jumpin' around) into little torches that incinerate the entire neighborhood into piles of fetid ash!! Next thing you know, you're living in a refrigerator box in Tijuana selling chewing gum to steely-eyed tourists who don't care that you've been living off scorpions and puddle water for three weeks!!

*ahem*

But I wouldn't know exactly. I just HEARD about this sort of thing.

Time for my two cents.... :D

Don't you like those resistance, training sessions with the parachutes? I was there last week when they were going through numerous drills; crawling on the ice rigid with just the movement of the upper body, squats, tossing a big old tire around (N. Wallen was a pro at that one). Drills with one on one in the corner...much, much more but hard to put in writing without taking up too much space. I think that is so interesting to watch. How the players geer up for the season. We're probably just seeing a little bit of what they go through. I don't know about the rest of you, but I see a very enthusiastic group of guys ready for a new season. They are all rested, tanned, in great shape, but most of all, they are in high spirits with winning attitudes !

just wanted to add a little to mona's report --

the 5-on-5 was good, Jesse didn't look too bad at all! :D nicky and ryan each had a pretty goal...after that was over, for about 10 minutes brindy and ziggy were practicing shooting on one end and ronnie was doing some puckhandling drills by himself on the other.

about half the players parked around the opposite side so that they wouldn't have to walk around the front when they left. when practices start to get busy, i shudder to think what it's gonna look like in front of that side door when hordes of people and little kids start waiting there for autographs. i still can't believe they think this will be a better situation than what they had before. /rant

Based on what I've read, heard, and seen thus far, the new setup is and will be a HUGE mess for autograph seekers AND players. The previous setup, while it made for big crowds in the lobby/entrance, was a little more organized. It will definitely be interesting to see how the new setup pans out during the regular season...

Jesse did do a good job in goal! And I just have to talk about the puck-handling stuff Ronnie was doing because it made me want to bow down to the guy. He lined up a bunch of pucks on the ice so that they were just a few inches apart and then he grabed one and weaved in and out through all the other pucks with it. :eek2: I thought I would die. And shockingly, he VERY rarely even bumped another puck. Impressive.

Aaron Ward looks to me like he may have taken off some weight......could be good (speed); could be bad (hitting). He did have one awesome goal during the 5 on 5 and overall I thought he looked good and ready to go.

I think I'm a bit more pleased with Marty Murray each time I see him skate as well. Still think Boughner was a great addition. He had a couple sweet goals as well.

I really, REALLY wish our real goalies would get back. I'm betting DesRochers' wife had her baby and that's why he is gone. I'd just feel alot more comfortable with them back. And I think the Czechs/Russians need to start rolling into town a well. But, it is still early so I'm not trying to slam anyone for it. I'm just ready to see them all on the ice again!

Hey SouthernHockey....yeah the puck handling is awesome, even the jumping around the sticks as they are laid out on the ice. A lot of small skating movements....

The one day I went, Ronnie had something wrong with his skates and he was falling left and right...it was horrible to see...he quickly left the ice and had someone look at them. You rarely see the guys falling down in practice but this was two steps, boom he was down, get up and down again.

I can't remember who posted it, but it may have been from the resident enforcer expert over there (who really does know a great deal about the fighting aspect). Perhaps it was just wishful thinking on his part, but I suppose if you're trying to win a job as an enforcer....

Well I got to sneak away to my first Canes practice! It was awesome to hear the skating again. Short report since I was only able to be there for about 15-20 minutes. Mostly 5 on 5 skating was all I saw. Tons of players there...I counted 18 skater jerseys! Of the ones I could ID were Brindy, Cole, Daniels, O'Neill, Tetarenko (mostly 'cause I kept wondering who was #33 in our team), Hedican, Wallin and Hill. They all seemed enthusiastic. Lots of passing, some crowding the net. Hedican had a nice goal that had the guys cheering and him raising his stick like he was quite proud of himself. Tried to take pictures but the skating is way too fast for action shots! I would say definitely the players outnumbered the crowd. Of course, after that I want my hockey NOW! :D

I don't think so.

I'm sure they change things around, but I think it's usually vets vs. rookies/Lowell to some extent. Some of the guys won't even stay in camp beyond the first week in Raleigh. For example, last year Cam Ward was supposed to leave after the first Raleigh stint, but when Weekes was waiting to get cleared after his seizere, Ward did go on to Florida until Weekes joined them.

Practice was good today..they did the regular drills..pulling each other around with the sticks, the tire, the medicine ball and then it got good...the shooting of the puck. I have noticed everyday that I have been, they become more physical and more focused. They are ready for the real McCoy! :spin: O, Bayda and Bob were three noticably missing. O was there, but didn't skate. Kevyn A. was back and Bret was there too...both looking very focused!! We got a kick out of Patty D. because when the puck was at the other end, he was sitting up against the goal like he was in a recliner in his house!! Ziggy is really working hard..I hope he has a spot!! :spin:

I could be wrong, but unless the ECHL can work things out and prevent a pending strike, I doubt Archie will be training with the Everblades anytime soon...

Maybe that has something to do with why he's here... (insert a puzzled emoticon here)

So nobody has seen or heard from staal?

Staal was here for prospect camp in early August for a week. Then all of those players returned home. Staal will be at team camp, but perhaps there is some sort of pecking order/guidelines about when you show up based on your level of (in)experience. Team camp doesn't officially begin until 9/12.

And really, since he's not under contract with the Canes, maybe he can't show up until the official start of camp. Seems like there's rules about every other thing - so why not that, lol.

I'm definitely not trying to be difficult, but i just don't follow this. Would the unique responsibility be that Weekes is the netminder? And if so, if the problems are from a team chemistry standpoint, then what does his position matter?

The skates thus far have been voluntary, and Weekes, Vasicek, and C. Adams haven't shown up. I honestly don't see how that's a negative for Weekes but not for the other two. Again, i'm really not trying to be difficult. I just don't see why there are different standards in play here.

I'm really not trying to be difficult. I'm just having a hard time understanding why some people are having a hard time allowing others to have an opinion different from theirs.

It is voluntary conditioning camp. Weekes was obviously not in condition when he returned the night before mandatory camp began last season as evidenced by his seizure which was reported to have been due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. In addition, C Adams was just married a month or so ago and Vasicek was signed only two days ago. What's Weekes' excuse?

Seems to me that Weekes has an awful lot to prove this season. I'd think he'd want to get started on that.

And I'll say it again....I wish they were ALL here by now. But they are all supposed to be here tomorrow so hopefully this subject can be dropped now.

And BTW, the skates aren't optional because they aren't important. They are optional because it is against NHL rules to have organized practice until September 12th. If it weren't against the rules you can bet your arse they'd be mandatory.

I didn't take this as a constructive means of "discussion" since I don't recall anyone stating that anyone was "hurting" the team's chemistry but rather that being here might improve the chemistry between one player and the rest of the team. But for some reason every less than stellar remark ever made about Kevin Weekes seems to get taken the completely wrong way by his defenders so I should be used to it by now.

No one has been bashing the guy....but take it that way if it makes you feel better.

This is his first season as a number one. At lot is riding on his shoulders and the extra time with his new team mates as well as his previous ones would have been a good thing. In my opinion - and just my opinion - there's a world of difference in the appreance of a number one goaltender and his impact on the team and the appearance of an unsigned third liner and a fourth liner in the cast of thousands that we have.

I thought I might add a bit more of my opinion, since we touched this subject on another thread. Would I prefer Kevin Weekes be in camp earlier? Sure I would. Do I think it would make a significant difference in the way this season goes if he shows up early or not? I don't really think so. I don't profess to be a hockey expert of any sort, but I think it would be more important for the skaters to skate with each other and get to know each other, more so than the goalie to just watch them skate in front of him. Also, only 2 goalies can play at a time. With deRochers and Zepp here the past week or so anyway, how much valuable time would he get in scrimmages? 30 minutes a day? Not much, again JMO

I think a few people are getting bent out of shape over nothing, really. If Weekes shows up out of shape and looks like a disaster out there, I'll be just as upset as anyone, believe me. Then I'll be back here ranting. But until I see evidence of that, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he has a legitimate excuse for not being here early. Besides a rumour here or there, none of us really know what's going on, so why should we assume the worst? For those of you upset about last year, last year he was in a different role, as a backup. Plus we don't know why he came into camp at the last minute, do we? Was there an emergency in the family? Did something else important happen to cause it? I don't know, but should we just assume that he's just plain lazy?

All I know is that I hope he's ready, because we're going to need him. By the way Guinivere, it bugs me sometimes, but I also chuckle at times that he doesn't hand the puck to the refs, depends upon how mad I am at the refs. But in watching center ice I notice a few other goalies around that don't do it either, although most do. I wonder why he doesn't.

aahhhh...the season can't start soon enough. Can't wait! GO CANES!!

I should probably leave well enough alone, SHC and Guin's comments are pretty clear, but....

Would I prefer Kevin Weekes be in camp
earlier? Sure I would.

Which is really all SHC, Guin, myself (and others) have been saying.

I think a few people are getting bent out of shape over nothing, really.

Who is bent out of shape? These are the comments that get people confused and defensive. Is having the opinion that Weekes' presence would make this fan happier deem me bent out of shape?

As a contrast, I was quite anxious for Hedican to arrive at pre camp. Most of the experienced defensemen were here and I felt like they (the dmen) have a lot of work to do and expectations to live up to. I told SHC numerous times (in person, not here on the MB) that I was expecting him to show up. After Brooks' funeral, had Hedican not shown up I would have been impatient. Does that mean anything? No. Does that have an impact on the season? Who the heck knows. Is it merely the opinion of one fan? Yes.

Besides a rumour here or there, none of us really know what's going on, so why should we assume the worst?

Who is assuming the worst of anything? It's preseason banter on the message board.

I don't know, but should we just assume that he's just plain lazy?

I must have missed where someone called him lazy? You are reading the comments of fans anxious for the season and their #1 goaltender to show up and start kicking ass. To my knowledge no one here has every called him lazy. Is he different than our workhorse Archie? Yes.

I'm aware that those posting their opinions about Weekes heard Forslund talk about how Weekes has the motiviation, the desire, the heart to rise to this challenge. We were all impressed (and thrilled) to hear him described in that way, so I'd really be surprised to know that any of them called him lazy.

aahhhh...the season can't start soon enough. Can't wait! GO CANES!!

I'll agree on that for sure. :)

Again, very well stated nccanes. I feel a lot has been read into my comments. I'm not bashing the guy, I've never called him lazy, I haven't said that him not being here will ruin the team chemistry, I haven't said him not being here has doomed the season, I haven't ranted about anything, and I'm only bent out of shape because I've been TOLD I've said all those things.

All I'm saying is I would like to have Weekes here and that it does not appear to me that Weekes has bonded with this team the way other players have and I wish he would. End of story. It's NOT a bash of the guy.....it's a simple statement.

Cool Hand Luke
09-07-2003, 10:27 AM
It has been said on this thread or another thread that Weekes does not show "team spirit", could be adversely affecting team chemistry, and has not shown any interest in the community. I'm not going to filter back through 100's of posts to find those words, but they were there because I commented on them at that time. Usually when people can't "let go" of a certain issue and keep bringing it back up over and over, it would seem that they might be "bent out of shape" about it, but of course I might be wrong. (same as with you, nccanes, about knowing for a fact that Weekes showed up at the last minute, last year, and having repeated it many times. But do you know why?).

I'm glad you brought up Hedican as someone else who was "late" in showing up for voluntary conditioning. I didn't see the repeated postings about how he should be here, like I have about Weekes, and the same with Vasicek and Adams. As a matter of fact, someone even mentioned that it was more important for Weekes to be here, than either of them.

I guess I was mistaken and again apologize. If people aren't upset that Weekes isn't here early, all the repeated posts to that affect confused me I. I'm glad we can agree on something, though. :)

SouthernHockeyChick
09-07-2003, 11:06 AM
Cool Hand Luke....the repeated postings seem to me to be from the people who disagree with those of us saying that we want Weekes back. If you look back, noMo Big Red brought it up in this thread. He's trying to understand, we're trying to explain.

I can't "let go" of this at the moment because, as I said, I AM bent out of shape that my words are being mis-interpreted.

I never said he was adversely affecting TEAM chemistry. I said:
I just feel like he hasn't bonded here....and I wish he would. This team seems like a family in a lot of ways....but he doesn't really seem to be part of it to me.

That's more about how comfortable HE is here....not how comfortable the team is with him. John Forslund says that he has never seen a goalie other than Sean Burke affect team chemsitry....and I believe him.

The other quotes you are referring to:

I am not criticizing him, I just wish he would get back into the swing of things like the rest of the team...most of the guys have been back since the 2nd week of August...conditioning and on the ice daily (except for weekends). I think it would show some "team spirit" for him to be back on the ice with the team

She flat out stated that it was not a criticism.

And, yes, I said he doesn't appear to like Raleigh. And he doesn't APPEAR to. But appearances can be decieving, I'm aware of that. I was simply making a statement on appearances.

BTW, do you know why Weekes came back at the last minute last year? I don't think anyone has assumed the worst on that. We've only mentioned he came back late and had a seizure and we don't want to see it again. I can't see how that is a criticism. It's a statement of fact and preference.

Again, we've said 50 times, we are NOT bashing Weekes. We are simply stating our desire to have the guy back. I'd personally like to see how these guys look with a real NHL goalie in front of them.....DesRochers, Bubba and Zepp don't cut it. I'm anxious....so sue me. I thought we all were.

I'm letting it go now. If you really want to believe that we are bashing Weekes go ahead, there's nothing I can do about it. I'd say if you'd been to a practice with us (since a lot of chat goes on between some of us so that it's likely we know what the other one really means whether any of us are saying it effectively or not) you'd see we love the guy and want him back here so we can get this show on the road. And you'd see how much fun these guys are having being back together and wish he was here too.

It has been said on this thread or another thread that Weekes does not show "team spirit", could be adversely affecting team chemistry, and has not shown any interest in the community. I'm not going to filter back through 100's of posts to find those words, but they were there because I commented on them at that time.

Well I did go back into numerous threads about this topic. No one used the term "lazy". My point is that when you say people said he was lazy or even implied he was lazy is when the people step in to say correct you. When you say people are bent out of shape and they aren't they are going to step in an correct you.

Usually when people can't "let go" of a certain issue and keep bringing it back up over and over, it would seem that they might be "bent out of shape" about it, but of course I might be wrong.

I'll tell you why this issue didn't die. It's because there was a post that was a sarcastic jab at someone's opinion (from another thread), that implied that Weekes was being held to a standard that CAdams and Vasicek were not. In my opinion, that's why this thread has continued.

In my opinion it's as simple as this. Some players are fair game for criticism (Tanabe and Craig MacDonald for example) and some are not. If someone does share a less flattering opinion or even a cautious opinion about those players, people try to read between the lines and chalk it up to some "thing" they have against that player. Goalies discussions seem to draw these out even more so.

(same as with you, nccanes, about knowing for a fact that Weekes showed up at the last minute, last year, and having repeated it many times. But do you know why?).

No I don't, but we're not talking about twelve months ago are we? (And to my knowledge, Weekes drew no criticism then at all.) As you mentioned things are totally different now. Weekes is our #1, we know what happened last year coming into town less than 24 hours before camp began, and we know our team finished in the cellar of the NHL. If those aren't reasons to reevaluate your approach to training camp, I'm not sure what are, in my opinion.

I'm glad you brought up Hedican as someone else who was "late" in showing up for voluntary conditioning. I didn't see the repeated postings about how he should be here, like I have about Weekes, and the same with Vasicek and Adams.

But he DID show up, that's my point. He was on the ice on August 21st. As I said in my post, if he hadn't shown up following his attendance at Brooks' funeral, you can guarantee he would have been mentioned here by me.

Goalie discussion are always going to be volatile in my opinion. It's the position that will rarely draw consensus (unless we're talking about a Brodeur-like player) and the position that is the most difficult to judge. I'll repeat that Forslund's comments got me very enthusiastic about the way Weekes is approaching this season and I know SHC shared that enthusiasm (if I might for a second speak for her, she'll let me know if I can't ;)).

Probably a nice time to stop and turn this thread back over to practice. I sure hope someone can go tomorrow and report back for those of us that continue to be deprived.

Speaking of, has Markov shown up yet? His name popped up in an article I read in a Canadian newspaper about pickup games that were kind of the "who's who" of the NHL and are going on in Toronto before camp begins for all the teams.

Roberts may coach his way to next career
Leads 'buddies' skate: Lakeshore arena becomes setting for millionaires' shinny
Joe O'Connor
National Post

TORONTO - If you happen to play in the NHL, spend your summers in the Toronto area, and know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody, there is a pretty good chance you have spent the past several weekday mornings playing shinny at Lakeshore Lions Arena.

The west-end rink, which hosts Maple Leaf practices during the season, has been a pre-training camp mecca for millionaire hockey players from a variety of teams.

Among them are Rangers centre Eric Lindros, Carolina Hurricanes defenceman Danil Markov, and former Leaf-now-Phoenix Coyote, Mike Johnson.

"It's kinda word of mouth," Johnson said after yesterday's morning pick-up. "Guys live around Toronto, they might know each other socially, or work out together, and then once you have come out for a couple of summers it is kind of expected that you show up."

Toronto forward Darcy Tucker made his first appearance at Lakeshore a little over a week ago. And unlike the Tucker of a few months ago, whose pre, mid, and post-game face resembled that of a rabid dog, the centre appeared tanned, toned and relaxed after spending three months at his cottage on Lake Rosseau.

"It's like playing golf with just your buddies -- and not for money," Tucker says of the exclusive shinny game. "The focus this year for all the [Leafs] is to have fun, and maybe that focus is what we need to see, and it is pretty light-hearted out there now."

But not completely so.

"I think [Gary Roberts] put himself in charge. Everybody just kind of stands around until he yells at someone," Johnson says. "Someone has got to take the initiative and he's a good guy to do it."

Yesterday, in addition to his raspy voice, the 37-year-old Roberts had a whistle at his disposal. Instead of allowing the players to take 4-minute shifts, which is the trend in your average shinny game, the veteran winger would have made Leafs coach Pat Quinn proud with his well-ordered approach to the scrimmage.

"We have a lot of guys from other teams, and we're trying to get a workout in, so we thought we'd just have a little more structure," Roberts says.

"When you get out there in this situation -- we almost have three lines aside -- so if you get guys who stay out there for three minutes you don't accomplish much, so we just go a minute on, a minute off."

Roberts' use of the whistle, however, was not completely without ulterior motives. Given that he was actually playing for the team in white, he made a habit of blowing the whistle to signal for a change whenever the blue team broke clear for a scoring chance.

Still, with Quinn only under contract for the next two seasons, the Leafs will presumably need to hire a new coach some day.

And considering he is hard-working, respected by his peers, smart and -- perhaps most important of all -- has his name on the Stanley Cup (the Calgary Flames in 1989), Roberts might be the perfect man for the job.

"I'm not giving that much thought right now," he says with a laugh. "I'd like to play a few more years ... The thing is you are getting closer to training camp so you are trying to get a little more game-like conditions out there. [But] as far as coaching, hey, who knows down the road, you never close any door."

From what I've read about Markov, he's full of personality so hopefully he'll get off to a great start with the team. I love this quote of Darcy Tucker's about him:

Markov and Tucker seem to get into arguments a lot. Tucker said, "Sometimes, when we get going back and forth, he tells me I need a whole lot of shut-up." about his arguments with Markov.

I like him already,

BTW, I happen to think that Markov should have been here by now establishing some chemistry with his new teammates as well (NOT saying team chemistry will be affected!!). Especially now that I know he is already on this side of the pond. And I also think he has a touch of an up-hill battle with some of the fans since some people thought his negotiating tactics were a bit suspect (not a problem for me personally but it's been an issue here). Hope that statement doesn't get interpreted as bashing since it wasn't intended as such.

I presume Markov will be here tomorrow as well since JR said they'd all be back by today. I can't wait to hit a practice this week with them all here!!! :spin:

Markov looked good from what I could see...seems to be very quick...smaller in size than I thought he would be...he seemed to smiling and talking to the guys...

One improved player that I have noticed is Brendl...we only saw him hurt last year and his speed has been impressive...you can tell a big difference in him...he is still big but not overweight...

My suspicion is that it will vary depending on the day or the point in camp. I know last year at the opening practice (at the RBC) it was all the vets together, but perhaps that was "for show" since there was a big audience.

I also seem to recall articles about certain players being "invited" to practice with the big boys instead of the babies, but I'm also a little vague on the timeframe ;).

Hurricanes ready to start season
Bob Sutton
Freedom News Service
Bob Sutton

RALEIGH — Training camp is about to start for the Carolina Hurricanes and they intend to get down to business in a hurry.

Having already seen how the organization’s prospects stack up during games late last season, coach Paul Maurice said it will be easier than in the past to whittle down the roster.

Team physicals take place today. The first practices are set for Friday at the RecZone in Raleigh.

Maurice said he plans a demanding and more detailed training camp. Because the Hurricanes were so far out of playoff contention last season before finishing with the NHL’s worst record, he said he evaluated many young players during the final 20 games. That gave him an early start in regard to what he wants to emphasize during training camp.

That also allows the Hurricanes to treat preseason games with more urgency when those start Sept. 19 in Florida.

Training camp also should give veteran players who were out with injuries last season a chance to regain a rhythm. Because of that, Maurice said the team’s talent level isn’t as low as it might have appeared at times.

“It’s was not like we had our team the whole year and everything went bad,” he said.

General manager Jim Rutherford said it’s important to set a foundation that puts the Hurricanes back in the mode of the 2001-02 team, which reached the Stanley Cup finals.

“When you move off what became successful, you see the result,” he said.

The Hurricanes invited 38 players to training camp, including three players from June’s draft.

Rutherford said training camp will be vital for some players.

Practice only last about 20 minutes today. D-men spent most of the time shotting from the blue line and the forwards teamed up and ran short drills. Not too exciting, only about 5 or 6 spectators today.

Practice did start at 10.........they are doing shifts......we left a little after 11 and the first shift was still going strong...much of the same drills...Markov was firing that puck a lot it seemed... he is very aggressive.. and we all need to start baking things for Eric S. cause he is just too darn thin.. :D

Vrbata did seem to be a little more into it today....he was actually chatting instead of looking kind of unhappy and standoffish from the rest of the team...seemed to be chatting with Markov most often..

Lots of times, if they play really well on Saturday, they will get Sunday off. I would call first.

Exactly - they deserve the day off. I really enjoyed the game last night, so I'll give them a Sunday off...but it's the last one!!

No ..we don't!! He was probably over there in the corner so he could give Mo the finger.. I saw other Panthers watching (didn't know them) and I kept looking at him trying to figure out that profile and when he walked away I said..hey that was C-Mac!!
