The quick reply and quote button do the same thing for me. They both quote the post. Quick reply used to activate the box at the bottom of the page for a 'quick reply'.

Help?

Anybody else having this issue? Post here if you are...

It works fine for me.

As many posts as I've made on this place, I've NEVER used the Quick Reply feature. I either hit the Quote (or multi-quote) or Post Reply buttons and then go to town from there.

How is Quick Reply different? What's it *supposed* to do? I honestly don't know.

Oh, the little quill and paper thingy? LMAO I've never used that. It does save a bit of a screen flip doesn't it?

It just worked for me. I have a check box to include the quote in my reply, and I left it unchecked, and it worked.

Yeah. It activates that reply pane at the bottom of the page.

I've never really used it either until testing just now.

My previous post was from Safari. This one is from IE 6.0. They both seem to be working as well.

I'm using IE8...

I think I answered my own question.

If I'm not badly mistaken, there's a compatibility mode you can view sites in in IE8 that will make it look/behave correctly.
