Email Virus question?

If I open an email thorugh my cell phone that contains a virus, and then delete it, does it infect my computer the next time that I log on to my computer?

No. A virus can only infect the computer that you are currently using when you open up the email attachment.

For example, if I have a yahoo account that I check both at home and at work, if I open the attachment at work and then delete the email, my home computer is still fine (but my work computer is screwed!).
