Need game advice folks.

I'm a big fan of the RTS strategy games and was wondering if anyone thinks Alpha Centauri and Civ III are still worth playing.

Right now I'm messing with Nexagon Deathmatch which has been ripped in review aftre review. I'm enjoying the heck out of it. The fellas at penny-arcade.com seem to think it is ok also.

Just curious what everyone/anyone thinks.

HELL. YES.

Though those are more TBS (turn-based strategy) than RTS, they're still loads of fun. :)

I think my husband played Civ III for a bit; I dunno, everybody I know is playing Star Wars online now.

got a couple of friends that are having fun with SWG, but for the most part the feeling I get is that it's 'unfinished'.

Sell it and play Dark Age of Camelot. More fun, more social, better economy, better crafting system.

Of course I'm kinda biased--the only reason I play SWG is because I have friends that play, but I'm pretty close to dumping it because it's unplayable for me despite the fact that I have all my graphics options turned down to their bare minimum and everything.
