While playing with Florida:
Completed second NHL season, both with Florida, going 1-0-1 with career high 123 PIM in career high 38 games ... Finished sixth on the team in PIM ...
Set team records for PIM in a game (37) and in a period (32 in the second) Jan. 19 vs. Atlanta ... Sustained a dislocated jaw and concussion Oct. 31 at NY Rangers and missed 10 games
He doesn't seem like he concerns himself to much with playing hockey, he only has 4 NHL goals, in 3 seasons. I mean how in the tarheel blue hell do you rack up 37 penalty minutes in one game? 32 IN ONE PERIOD? HOW??? This guy chose the wrong career path, maybe he'd bebetter suited for the WWE, or UFC, or pro boxing.
This guy sounds like a real warrior though! Not to mention a couple bad eye injuries, and a concusion.

But in a 20 minute period how do you rack up 32 penalty minutes?
Thats alot of fightin and leaving the box early to do more fightin :D
Or could he have been tossed from the game and the rest of the game time count as minutes? No that couldn't be it i don't think because it says that 32 of the 37 minutes were in the 2nd period.

well probably not many power plays off of that type of penalty... 32 in one period... probably 5 for fighting, 10 minute misconduct, game misconduct (10 PIMs added to record), and maybe another fight in there... in which case the other guy probably goes to the box, too.. that makes 30... so perhaps a minor penalty as well?
Either way, most of his penalties seem like they'd be major, not minors that put us a man down.

01-19-2002 - ATL@FLA
"Referees Mike Hasenfratz and Greg Kimmerly handed out 16 fighting majors and a total of 128 penalty minutes. Atlanta took advantage, setting a team record with four power-play goals."
1st Period Penalties:
Tetarenko, Fla (fighting major), 7:17
2nd Period Penalties:
Tetarenko, Fla (fighting major), 12:38
Tetarenko, Fla (instigator, fighting major, misconduct, game misconduct), 20:00.
Imagined 3rd Period Penalties:

LMAO it was Hasenfratz! That's hilarious! (We sure do have our fair share of hated refs, don' t we? HanzNFranz, McGeough, Lance Roberts (2 or 3 yrs. ago), etc.)
but yeah, it was all fighting/misconduct/instigation.
lol at the imagined penalties... laundry attendant, hehehe

Hasenfratz!
Because of him, the woman that sat beside of us last season, had her life shortened by several years because of her anger for him!! :D

For those of you who followed my winter hockey team's trials and tribulations over the past year, YOU will understand this.............................
SOUNDS LIKE MY KIND OF GUY!
Welcome to the family Mr. Tetarenko. When someone racks up 32 minutes in one period, you better call them Mister! ;)

Well if Mo is gonna just role 3 lines, I'd love to have him and Boulerice on the 4th line.
Man could you imagine being at the RBC when that line hit the ice in a big game? That place would be rockin cause they'd know whats coming.
Although I wouldn't be suprised to see himn withthe canes. Other teams you just know will take cheap shots at weekes trying to take him out. A couple guys like Boulerice and Tetarenko, would be a nice comodity for us when sombody got alittle to close.
That is assuming anybody gets past our defense :D

You know, I never thought of having both the Bull and Tetarenko on the team...let alone the same line....but I'd love to see it. Scratch that, I need to see it. A move like that would really buff up a team that is in some senses soft. (what do they call it? Finesse?)
If our offense is going to be as good as I hope it can be, I think these two winger positions on the 4th line are expendable. Problem is, who's the center for this group? If you want to keep the Adams Family together, they'll have to be on the 3rd. That leaves Murray or Vasicek being either the LW on the 3rd or the C on the 4th....and if Staal makes the team I don't think the plan would work, because you would either break up the Adams family or put Staal with the Bull and Tetarenko. (The last thing I want to see is him on a line that fights alot....This is a guy that needs to be injury-free)
Then again, maybe KAdams can play LW on the 3rd, allowing Staal to center the 3rd and Murray/Vasicek to center the 4th...
Then again, it'll never happen. Who am I kidding? :spin:
