That's perfectly fine with me!! You can count me in! I can't be more excited. I want to go on a few road trips this year - i've been on one my whole life and it was incredable. Also hard to belive how many ppl i talked into going haha:lol:

So you helped organize the Atl trip on another board? Awesome. I love going down to Atl, it's easy, not that expensive and the fans are decent.

Washington is fun but everything is more $$. If we had a group going down (like with a bus or something), it would be a LOT easier. Next season a couple of my friends aren't getting season tix so they'll be available for more road trips! We want to go somewhere we've never been...I really want to go to Nashville after hearing how great it is from folks on here. I've been to Tampa but I'd like to do Tampa and Sunrise both on one trip next season if the schedule permits it. Oh and Montreal is on the list too!

yess i would do anything to go to a game in canada. I got the trip together from the canes website message board myspace and facebook. I figured a couple people would bite at it but wow...many more than I thought. It would be nice to go to a game not necessarly close to here - oh well we've got all summer to decide :):)

Ashley, if you hadn't organized the Atlanta trip we wouldn't have had anything to show for our ability to travel and support the team in a meaningful manner last season. That Atlanta road trip was awesome and we showed we can represent.

Atlanta and Washington have some fairly well-organized road crews, and we really need to get something like that going for the Canes because we can't let their fanbases outdo us in that regard, right?

What several folks here have been mulling around is getting just a little more formal with planning for next season. What I'm hoping to do is when the schedule comes out, take 3 or 4 games that make sense, some in driving distance and maybe one that could be accomplished with a reasonably cheap flight, and get a group together to plan for some road trips. It would be difficult for one person to do it all, but not so difficult if we have several folks willing to divide and conquer on the workload.

So stay tuned because I'm definitely going to start that discussion once the schedule is close to being published.

We also need a catchy name for ourselves.

Ashley, great job with organizing the ATL trip- great undertaking and I have believed for years that if we could do something that's like a fan club on the road, without the whole Fan Club commitment, it would be awesome. Especially since I've gone to other teams buildings, met a scattering of Canes fans, and really wanted to see more people in Red (or white) on the road with us.

I'm in if help is needed on the organizing front; I've actually had experience with organizing travel cheerleading squad tournaments, so count me in!

Tampa is a great road city/bldg to go to- and I think it'd be great to do one of the northeast cities (BOS & PHI come to mind) or in a dream type trip a roadie up to Canada; I've done Toronto, but wouldn't hesitate to go back, but I think that fun could be had in MTL. (obviously bigger type roadies, but still would be a blast)

The sched is out around Jul 15th or so eh? Where's puck_it, my memory is failing on this one, but I want to say it's mid-July

awesome! I am getting more and more excited :) I know our road name was caniac invasion... just because they put it on the jumbotron as welcoming the following groups... it was pretty funny to see caniac invasion on the screen in atlanta haha
