RALEIGH, N.C. (Aug. 21, 2003) – The National Hockey League today announced that the Carolina Hurricanes’ home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, will start at 6 p.m. at the RBC Center. The game was originally scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. but was moved to accommodate Toronto’s television rights holder Rogers SportsNet’s broadcast of NASCAR’s Checkers Auto Parts 500 from Phoenix International Speedway.

Hurricanes full-season and mini-season ticket plans are currently available by calling 1-888-NHL-TIX1. Individual game tickets for October and November games will go on sale Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. in conjunction with the annual Caniac Carnival. Individual tickets for remaining 2003-04 games will go on sale at the beginning of the preceding month.

Hey, this makes my Sunday! I get to watch the race AND the game. I was stoked for Sunday, but now.... I can't wait! I'm gonna be a bag of nerves all day since I start my new job on Monday, so this will help keep my mind occupied. Everything's coming up Aaryn!

Unfortunately, my son and I aren't feeling well enough to attend today's game. We have 2 tickets, Section 127, Row R Seats 13 & 14 (Lower Level South- behing goal on end where Canes shoot twice). Gate price for each would be $57- STH price is $47. I'll sell both for $90 and throw in a premiere parking pass for free. If you're interested, call 861-2594. Ask for Petrina.
