New Coyotes Logo Spotted Early

In what has become a trend as of late the lid on the new Phoenix Coyotes logo has been blown by a video game screenshot.
The screenshot, originally posted by a popular video game site from a preview of an upcoming NHL game, shows the new Coyotes logo at centre ice, with the player still in the 1996/97 - 2002/03 style Coyotes uniform.
We were asked to remove the original screenshot of the game, the image that you see is a quick recreation of the logo that was seen in the screenshot.
The brick red (the same burgundy the Avalanche use) from the current Coyotes colour scheme is featured prominently, with sand and black remaining as trim colours. It appears that green has been eliminated from the colour scheme.
Something else of note in the image, and something we should all get used to, is the player is wearing the dark Coyotes uniform at home in Phoenix. The NHL stated they will have home teams wear dark uniforms at home and light jerseys on the road for the 2003/04 season.
The Phoenix Coyotes, who were rumoured to be changing their name to the Arizona Coyotes, will be officially unveiling this logo, and their new yet-to-be-seen uniforms, sometime next month. It is rumoured that the new home uniforms will be brick red with simple, traditional striping, with a shoulder logo that reads "PHX", possibly similar to the Phoenix Suns alternate logo.
