Great team Tommy, although I would play Dillon over Martin.

Your team is not so bad Jarofan. You're deep at QB and not a bad recieving corp. ALexander and Stewart are a great combo.

You guys play in leagues that make you start TE? We dropped that years ago and everyone in our league agrees TEs are useless in FF.

TEs are useless unless you get Gonzalez!

I feel so bad about my team because you didn't see the pickup I made in the 4th round - Michael Bennett. Stupid me didn't really check the injuries list! I had to drop him right after the draft.

yeah i was really excited when i got the team; I got 2nd place in my league last year, but had the best overall record before losing in the championship.

TEs are pretty much useless in FF, i suppose... that's a good point. Although every last point counts... I would have gone 13-3 last year, but went 12-4 instead, because I lost the 2nd game of the season by 1 point.

As a general rule tight ends are not big point getters, however, in certain cases (ie Gonzalez, Walls, etc.) they can be beneficial. Does your league allow replacing a TE with a WR, if so it might be a good move for points in the future. Look at Coles from Washington if he is not gone already.

Oh, and i would play Corey Dillon also.!!!!!!

No, but we do 2 RBs, 2 WRs and then a swing position of either one of those. I've had Walls for 3 years but just couldn't do it this year with him splitting time with Franks.

Our league roster allows for five WR/TE and you start three.

Gonzalez, Shockey and Pollard got picked. We have 12 teams in our league and I'm pretty sure a few more TE will make a roster.

I've finished in the top four for 7 of the pass 8 years. The key is to work the waiver wire. I finished 2nd in the past two seasons. I lost our Super Bowl last year because Amani (It's not a toomer) Toomer caught three TDs in week 16.

The team that won it all last year pick E. James first and then picked Vick in the fourth round.

I've been in a league for about ten years now, before the internet really made things easy. I've done several leagues in one year before but found sticking to one league is better.

We use the Web League Manager from First Place Sports. It's a pretty good site.

Yahoo has about the best site for joining a league in progress, but you better hurry things are filling up fast. If 8 or 10 people what to start a league from here, I'd be interested.

I just spent too much time trying to figure out the free Yahoo site. I kept getting error messages. I tried to do a college football pick'em last year and finally gave up because it kept having trouble with my password. I’ve played FF a few seasons ago and had no trouble.

What's up with Yahoo? Is there some kind of secret or something?

I wouldn't worry about that. A friend of mine told me someone used the third pick overall to draft Tom Brady. Not Portis or Faulk, but Tom Brady. Man, I wish we had people like that in our league. But then again, I'm glad we have such a competitive league. It makes if more fun when you win.

BTW, I picked Chapman, so maybe the Vikings are just evil.

For those of you in Fantasy Football leagues, If nobody in your league picked up Michael Vick because of his injury, it might be worthwhile to go ahead and pick him up now. He is going to be back in six weeks, and you can bet he will be a ball of fire when he returns. Just a little bit of advise from past experience, use it if you like.
