Do the players come to the New Year's Eve party?

I've never been to the New Year's Eve game, and I may go this year. I was just wondering: do the players come to the party after the game?

Nope.

I think one year they sold tickets to a special party with some players attending, the proceeds going to charity I think. I didn't go to that one but I've been to the regular one a few times.

It's nothing special. We had fun sitting in the RBC, watching the late games (if you're lucky enough to get a spot at the TV tables in the ledge lounge area), and seeing the puck drop but, usually it's very long lines for the free champagne or the pay bar and no players for sure.

No players, but one year I did see PK himself in the vacinity of the bar. That was probably the first or second year that they held it.

The party's pretty low key, but they always have a good band and the fireworks are cool. Last year, my sister and I ran down to the car after the puck drop and lined the car up to watch the fireworks through the front windshield.
