So it won't go to waste - my Ultimate Caniac Video

About a month ago, the Hurricanes started a contest for the "Ultimate Caniac" video. The only rule was that it not exceed one minute in length.

I have no idea why my video was passed over, but I put a lot of work into it and at least wanted people to see it. I was holding off on posting this until the Hurricanes put it up for a vote, but since they chose to never allow it to be voted on, I'll post it here now.

My guess as to why you're not a finalist: it's only your voice, and just a couple still pix of you, and what video you're using (except for the stuff out of your car windows) isn't original. I think they're looking for more original video of the "Caniac" in action.

Well, if that was the case I wish they would have posted some rules so I could have followed them. All I saw was "make a video", so that's what I did.

Oh, I agree with you. I just hate I went through all the work producing it when it just be DOA.

I think you got passed over because you mentioned the bad times, players who didn't want to play here, and worst of all, Trevor Kidd.

I loved your video, but between knowing our org. and seeing the videos they did pick, they want shiny happy cheerbots with lots of merchandise, not hockey fans.
