So, I got a kick out of this thread and thought I would share...

Some idiot posted on LetsGoWings.com about Canes fans saying we didn't know how to cheer and we didn't know hockey.. interestingly enough the thread has gone on for more than a page now of them saying we know how to cheer very well, and that the Joe could use that kind of enthusiasm. I don't think there was 1 post in agreement with her.

That aside, I still chuckle when I think of Shanahan in the penalty box in Carolina motioning to a female fan heckling him that she really needed to shave under the arms.

Ugh! I cant believe they still remember her! She was so disgustingly drunk :sick:

Most of those compliments seem of the backhanded type. While they complement us they also still seem to hold a superioirty over us!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T...find out what it means to me.

Glad to know Detroit fans at least give us credit for loving our team...Even having the loudest house in the NHL. Even if there is an aire of superiority around, at least they aren't completely dissing us.

Does anyone know what "HockeyTown 3" is or rather what makes if funny concerning the Canes? I mean, I'm sure it's a highlight DVD, etc. - but wonder what specifically the chick is referring to concerning Raleigh/Canes fans that made her laugh.

I see where SouthernWingsFan is coming from, I've seen Hockeytown3 (duh!) and there are some seriously funny things coming out of their mouths.

Well I guess the fact that they are even discussing us shows that we earned something during the run for the Cup!! They know we are the loudest and BEST fans!! :spin: ;)
