The NCAA dropped the hammer on USC's football program, but unfortunately, the leader of the pack has moved on to greener pastures and will not have to suffer the consequences. At least Carrol moved to the NFL where the players are paid over the table and not under the table. When is the NCAA going to change the way penalties are levied? John Calipari has left 2 universities in shambles but he still gets to coach one of the premier collegiate basketball teams.

Hard to see NCAA giving smaller schools harsh penalties and almost nothing to the big ones, who make the worst penalties

Those are the schools that bring in the big dollars from the TV contracts. I'm sure that doesn't have any effect...
