Hopefully this is abit of history that will be repeated!

Ex-Petes win Championships
06/16/03

As the New Jersey Devils captured another Stanley Cup Championship in 2003, so did another Ex-Pete. Jamie Langenbrunner became the twenty-first Petes Alumni to win the Stanley Cup in the past fifteen seasons. Ten of the past fifteen Stanley Cup Championship teams have had a member of the Peterborough Petes Alumni on their roster.

Their has also been twelve Petes Alumni on the Finalist teams roster. In three of the five seasons that an ex-Pete did not win the championship, they were a member of the finalists.

Below is a breakdown of Petes alumni on Stanley Cup Championship, and Finalist teams:

Actually, that was a Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In reference...there was a German soldier character on there who was played by Arte Johnson, and he was always peeking through a potted plant and saying "Veeeeery interesting...". :)

To keep this on-topic, I have no doubt that Staal will make training camp veeeeery interesting. ;)
