"The Stars were on a power play for Zubov's goal after Reed Low of the Blues got 27 minutes in penalties, including a game misconduct, for instigating a fight with Phillippe Boucher.
St. Louis center Petr Cajanek got a cut over his right eye in the first period after a crunching open-ice check by Boucher, and the Blues spent the rest of the game trying to get back at Boucher, who was not penalized for the hit. Cajanek was knocked out for the rest of the game.
A total of 10 fighting majors, six misconducts, and 132 penalty minutes (74 against St. Louis) were assessed.
In the final minute, Jeff Finley of the Blues was serving a slashing minor when he reached out of the penalty box and started punching Derian Hatcher of the Stars while Hatcher was pummeling Pavol Demitra. That earned Finley a game misconduct.
''Petr's a good player for us and we can't let that stuff slip by,'' Blues captain Al MacInnis said. ''I think we reacted the way most teams would. Whether it's a clean hit or not, you have to protect your players.''
There ya go!

Suspensions coming for Blues
TSN.ca Staff
3/24/2003
A fight-filled game between the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars on Sunday night should result in multiple suspensions.
Blues defenceman Jeff Finley is in hot water for fighting from the penalty box. Though he did not leave the penalty box, Finley opened the gate to attack Stars captain Derian Hatcher. Hatcher was fighting sniper Pavol Demitra at the time.
Blues right winger Reed Low faces an automatic two-game suspension for his third instigator penalty of the season.
Also, Blues left winger Tyson Nash may get a suspension for a high stick on Stars defenceman Philippe Boucher.
The league will hold hearings Monday to decide what suspensions will be handed out.
