yeah, most stuff is created to be enjoyed by others... but I'm of the opinion that if you know who did it, you should always give credit where due.

big pet peeve of mine seeing something I spent hours/days on, posted on someone's site with no mention of anything other than something like "isn't this cool?". might just be me... I dunno. it's approaching plagiarism for me. which is why I put my handle in all my graphics now.

I'm not saying MB was appearing to take credit for this... just saying in general... I like seeing credit given to original creator on original graphics. /shrug. :)

i'm also of the opinion that if someone posts something without saying anything like "yo everybody, i made this -- it's mine", then you can't really fault anyone for posting it elsewhere without proper credit. people see something cool and they want to spread it around. :D http://www.electrichyena.com/other/redthumb.gif
