My husband & I really enjoy this day. He always sends flowers to me at work, and then we surprise each other with a dinner reservation. In other words, it was my turn to make the dinner rez, but he doesn't know where we're going.

Now.... I know a lot of you may poo-poo the holiday, so just for you folks, here's something that made me really LOL, when it popped into my Email in-box:

That's our girl Canesluver. LOVE that ad.

I know, this day irks many people- Hallmark holiday, etc, I got engaged on Valentine's Day, 1992, so it does hold special meaning to me, but at the same time, I've come to believe what my hubby believes "everyday should be Valentine's Day".

We're having a nice dinner as like the CL's and I'm enjoying the gorgeous bouquet I received. Happy Valentine's day to a bunch of really good people whether you celebrate the day or not.

The day doesn't irk me, I just don't care. Our office smelling like a funeral home today, though.

The only thing worst than Valentine's Day? A Valentine's Day with no Canes game! I mean WTF is that?!?!

The main reason we don't go out is we don't want to deal with the crowds....and the planning ahead. As any of you who know me are aware, I suck at that.

being single, it doesn't really bother me. When you get old ....nothing matters anymore~ ;)

I just celebrate *single awareness day* :D

To the surprise of many, I'm not in the 'like' column for this day (but probably because of past bad experiances). But I did tell a certain gal pal of mine yesterday that this is going to be 'her year' and that I firmly believe.
