In case you didn't know.......

The Rocky Top Hospitality Group, has been re-organizing and shifting it's focus to more "budget-friendly" tavern-style menus. For example, their first restaurant, Michael Dean's closed on Feb. 15 and they're re-doing it to re-open as another Tribeca Tavern.

Their latest restaurant to close is Bogart's in the Glenwood South neighborhood. I don't know if they plan to re-open as something else, or not.

Anyways.....

Starting today, until the restaurant closes after business on Sunday, all entrees are only $10. They are also sponsoring a different charity each night, and 10% of the proceeds each night will benefit that charity.

To make a reservation, and to see a menu, just go to the Open Table website -- http://www.opentable.com

We're going tonight, because tonight's charity is one we support -- Foundation of Hope. :)

Yep! All entrees are $10.

You have to have a reservation. They're filling-up fast.

I loved Bogart's brunch and after getting the email last week that they are closing I made it a 'must visit' for the weekend. CHC's sister & I went there for brunch this past Sunday and the place was packed. We didn't have reservations and had to sit out on the patio (which would not have been so bad but it was a tad chilly).

If you are plannig on going this weekend I strongly suggest calling for reservations.

Btw, Bogart's site says the brunch is moving to Red Room effective 3/6.

I don't believe they are re-opening it as something else. I think I read somewhere they had a 10 year lease which is expiring and not being renewed.

yep =(

Our waitress last night though told us that all of the employees have been offered jobs @ other rocky top spots -- they're opening another Tribeca Tavern up in North Raleigh and that seems to be where alot of folks are headed.

I have a reservation for Friday evening -- there weren't many options left when I made mine last night.

Delish sirloin tonight, with some mac & cheese on the side. A warning to anyone going this weekend, esp if you tend to drink a little and not look closely at your receipt -- they were automatically adding 20% gratuity at the bar and at the table.
