I'm not sure if that carries over to the next season (my guess would be no), but if he's signed a new contract (and I think he did), then I don't think we have any further advantage (though not sure).

Regardless, after the statements last year about being burned when Calgary took him, i'd be surprised as punch if JR doesn't put his name in the pot to get him back.

Once the season ended, the waiver thing kind of reset itself so we don't have first dibs. But we do have 4th dibs since we currently sit 4th from the bottom.

Really thought JR would grab Carson. Ah well, guess he wasn't as bothered about losing him as he let on.
