I am sure that you have heard about the Caniac Convertible that you can win on Fan Appreciation Day. I have great news and bad news. The bad news is that the number of tickets sold is WAY below expectations. The original plan was to sell a Maximum of 3000 tickets. The kids N' Communtiy foundation will not benefit as much as they could have from this.
Here is the good news! As I said before, not a lot of tickets have been sold at all. You have great odds of being one of the ten finalists if you buy tickets. Here is how it works. 10 tickets will be pulled after the Montreal game on Monday. (You will not find out if you won on Monday night or not though). The 10 will attend FAP night. Each person will be given a key to try and start the car. 1 key will be the winner and the other 9 will be "not quite right". The 9 runner-ups will get a Canes prize pack.
I don't think I can post the actual number of tickets sold on this board, but I can tell you that you have never had or will have better odds of winning a prize like this. The MSRP of the car is $37,240!
The odds of winning are so good, I actually entertained the thought of quitting the Storm Squad, just so I would be eligable to win the car along with my family too. :)
The last day to buy tickets will be at the game on Monday. You can buy them behind section 129 at the arena.
I do have one favor to ask. If you buy tickets, could you kindly reference my name (MeanGene) when you buy them, if you had not planned to buy them already. Thanks in advance.
Also, if you want to buy 5 or more tickets, (AWESOME CHANCE TO BE PICKED), I will hand deliver your tickets in the Raleigh/Cary area.
I can not reiterate enough how good you chances are. I know some of you are thinking that I am just bluffing to sell some tickets, but I am telling the honest truth!
I really want someone on this board to win!!!!!!
Tickets are $20.00 each.

Thanks for ze alert MeanGene...I was planning to buy myself a ticket at Saturday's game. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you.
BTW, speaking of the Kids 'N Community Foundation, are they still selling the Cookin' With the Canes cookbook? If they are, I'm planning on getting a copy this Saturday too.

Yep. I just bought one at the last game. They sell them at the silent auction kiosk near section 109. They are $15 each.

MeanGene, shhh! I already bought my ticket, and you're lessening my odds!
Seriously, it would be nice to get more money for the charity! :)
