methinks you take your board too seriously ... I'm just looking for people with whom to have a fun fantasy league. It's just the same post b/c it was easiest for the purposes of giving out the league # and p/w. I'm sure NO ONE posts about the same subjects ... I'm sure there haven't been a million "Irbe should be with the Canes" posts that say the same thing. Whatever ... it's a friggin hockey board, not a CIA Web site.

What I did do, was get rid of 2 of the 3 (your only three at the time) posts... all of which were identical, save a single word difference in the subject.

Look man... as long as there's been a board here, there have been rules. One of the rules is don't double-post. If you want people to see a post that is a few days old, feel free to bump it... (not constantly, but an ocassional bump I have no problem with). There's no reason to post the same thing, in 3 different spots, 3 different times.

If you don't like that... well.... that's on you.
If you'd like to stay, fine, just abide by the rules please, it's really not that difficult.

I don't think we take the board too seriously, but we are trying to save people time. I sure as hell don't want to read the same thing 3 times. I can understand that you don't think it is a big deal since you don't actually read most of the board. Most of us do.

The bottom line is follow the rules without sulking and all will be cool.. if you don't do anything but re-open locked threads or start new threads complaining/reposting, you won't be around long. If you prefer chaos on your boards, there are plenty of others I can recommend.

Stick around, read some posts, and feel free to join one of the three LGC fantasy leagues we already have going.

If they didn't crack down on stuff we'd be as bad as some other boards out there (which shall remain nameless). Yes, we do take our board seriously because it is the best one out there!

again ... the only reason the same thing was posted was b/c it was the easiest way for me to make the info available on how to join ... I added that there were only two spots left and wanted to give people a chance to join ... I'm certainly not the type to post for the sake of posting ... I've read around your board and it seems fine ... it's not like I pelted the board with a hundred messages trying sell Hurricanes merchandise ... it was a chance to get some fellow Canes' fans together and enjoy some fantasy hockey. It wasn't an ad ... I don't benefit finacially by getting people to play fantasy hockey. I wasn't being obnoxious about my opinion. I'm sorry if I made the wrong first impression, again ... was just trying to start up a fun fantasy league and get it going before the season started. I hope some of you signed up (it's full, fyi) and that we can have fun.
