I thought it was really cute...and funny. But I see everyone's point of view!! I am open to anything , and since my artistic abilities are next to nothing so not too much input to give.. :D
But I think Mene Gene represents us good, being that he is a big part of the Canes org. and a part of our group too is awesome! JMHO! ;)

But some Canes in there with him would be awesome too.. :D

Some of us out of town fans who know that Mean Gene is part of the Storm Squad, but haven't been to a home game, might not see him as a good representative for lgc.com or the team. I realize all of you understand the reference, but some of us don't. Hopefully before the end of this season I will be able to get down there and see how 2 and 2 go together. ;)

Well, it isn't a serious new logo candidate. I just thought some would find it funny, and gene would get a kick out of it.

Thanks for clarifying that. Imagine if you will if you supplanted Gene with GOP (Good Old Peter for those of you who don't know) and ran the banner ad in Hartford. ;)

It has been brought to my attention that some of you thought I was over-reacting with some of my comments in this thread, and I thought I should take the time here.

I apologize if Mean Gene and any of you thought that I was, as I never meant any disrespect. I have never met Mean Gene and from what many of you have said about him, he is a genuinely nice person. I'm up in London and didn't understand the reference, and therefore I thought this was serious and not a joke by Caniac.

Again, I apologize if any of you took any of my comments that way, and hope I haven't made any enemies here. This was never my intention. As I hope some of you know, I try to go out of my way to be friendly with all here that I have met. Anyhow, I hope there is no harm done, and keep your stick on the ice!
