Yay! My team is in first place in a public Yahoo league thanks to.... Roberto Luongo... :sad:
Don't ya hate that? I may have several days like this since I have Ilya Kovalchuk, Brad Richards and Luongo on the roster. But what the hey, it's just for fun.
We can thank the Yahoo automatic draft machine for not giving me any Canes, though. I think having players from my favorite real teams is sometimes a jynx. No example is better than my baseball team this year. I was excited to get Mike Piazza as my catcher. I've been a big Mets fan for over 30 years (since Tom Seaver days) and was expecting some good numbers. So what happens? Mikey goes and tears a groin muscle... missed 3 months. I'd be very nervous if any Canes were on my roster. :eek2:
