hi all..

i've been working on a Canes photo gallery website, and it's finally reached completion (well, for now ;) ). there are quite a few photos up, and you will recognize the names of the contributors from this forum. i'm looking to make this into an archive of sorts, and would welcome photo contributions from anyone. PM me or email me if you have photos that you would like on the site. the only catch is, they have to be your photos.

the layout is simple for now, but i hope to spruce it up a bit and work on "professionalizing" the design some in the off-season. it will probably be updated only a few more times in the next week or so (usually soon after a home game), and then sporadically during the off-season. obviously, the site is graphics-intensive (but the main page is not), so be warned if you're on dial-up.

i hope this is of interest. if your favorite player isn't represented or only has a few photos, then it is up to YOU to remedy that situation. :D the more photos that we can get, the better.

new photos have been added. don't be fooled by the date next to the players name -- that is the date of the most recent additions...photos have been added to most of the pages since this thread was first started.

there will probably be one more major update after this weekend before i start re-designing the whole thing to get ready for next season. everything will stay up and functional during that time, of course. :)

ok, the site has been updated. completely redesigned and new photos have been added.

i've also added an autograph section so people could share their autograph stories. a photo of the signature would be ideal (it IS a gallery, after all ;) ), but you don't need one. it could be just a few sentences about the day you got your favorite player's autograph or whatever. less than 500 words, please. :angel:

just letting everybody know about some updates/changes....

1 - i removed battaglia and tanabe from the main menu and placed them in a new section called "former canes". :sad:

2 - added a new section for prospects, etc., and the pics from rookie camp are there (those of you who don't partake of the ladies' thread may be interested).

there are a few minor additions...i added a page for Patty D and will soon add one for JD.

don't forget, i still need autograph/meeting stories and artwork, if anyone wants to share. AND there are still players with no (or very few) photos. please contribute!

just a note to say i've added about 40 photos to the website. most of them are from recent practices and the Jimmy V. there are new pics from batesb, nccanes, and others. there are also a few of mine up there that have not been posted on these boards... ;)

please, PLEASE if you have photos, PM me or email me (from the link on the site) to contribute! even if you think a photo is crap, somebody else might not. ;) even old photos or photos of former Canes are welcome!

Well, I finally (after much innerarguments), got your new boys autograph, I was so embarrassed anyway, but he came in the like little lobby in the RecZone, and I had some cards and stuff that my hubby got me working out there at the RBC, but not Boogie's, so he came in and I went up to him and was like "I dont have your card, but would you mind signing this paper" (SUPER CHEESEY)!, But that was my first autograph from a Cane, then when I went outside to leave O was getting in the car, and I asked him if he minded signing my card (thank God, had his), and he was like No problem". I tried to make small talk underneath everything. I dont know why its so hard for me to do that, but theres my story (not very good, but just thought I would share)... :crazy:
