Ok, we're hitting our bandwidth limit again. This is great news, meaning the site is constantly growing.

The bad news is, more bandwidth costs more money.

So I've worked out a heck of a deal from the web host. If the site pays $50 one time, the bandwidth limit is gone forever.

No more bandwidth issues.

I've paid out of pocket 3 times to raise the limit. And I would gladly do it again. However, I do not happen to have $50 spare right now.

So, those of you who love the site, and would hate to see it shut down for several days every month, head over to the "Make Donation" link on the front page and donate a buck or two. That's all it takes, 1/10 of the members of LetsGoCanes.com to donate a couple of dollars to end bandwidth limits forever!

Those of you who have donated before, I appreciate it and don't expect you to donate again, unless you really want to. :)

Thanks to everyone who donated! We got enough to get the bandwidth, and it's already been set up!

Thank you guys soooo much.

Those who still want to contribute, please do. Maybe once we get enough we could get real board software like vBulletin or something. :)

It isn't too late...like Caniac said, money that doesn't support the bandwidth issues could support the board in other ways...

How much does vBulletin cost, anyway?

vBulletin is $160 for an owned version, which allows it to be run on 1 webserver and 1 website for an unlimited time. Then for $30 a year, they allow access to a members area of their website and allow downloads of new versions and upgrades to the software.

I've been wanting to do it for a while, but don't have the scratch. ;)
