Question on layout

Is it possible to put the "sort posts by" option at the top of the page also? Or is it possible to default vies by Newest Post instead of Oldest post? I like to view the most recent posts first, and having to scroll to the bottom of the page somewhat defeats the purpose, imho.

I am probably missing a setting somewhere, leave it to the newbie.

nope, no way to set that as default, sorry.

as to moving the "sort posts by" to the top... that may be possible, I've never looked at the code for that section. that's a matter for Caniac though, I just work here. :)

if I get real bored at work I might check that code on one of the boards I admin.. I'd imagine it's possible... most code in php can be rearranged.. it's just a pain in the arse.

Something I always do, and this is just a suggestion, is when I havent been logged on for a while, I just first go to the index, and then to the right side and go to View post since last visit, that kinda keeps them in order of newest post and like where you were when you were last here....Just my opinion... :D
