I went to one of my local card shops on Friday afternoon, and bought myself a pack of Crown Royale cards. Now, I've never collected the Crown Royale brand, but I have some of their cards in my Ron francis collection. For some reason, I bought their cards, something about them compelled me. Well, I got a little surprise in the pack, it was a double patch card, featuring Rod Brind'Amour and Erik Cole, numbered out of 203. Now, I thought that we had served our penance to the Hockey Gods by now, but this card seemed to be a little more salt on the wound. I got a little kick out of the card, and the owner of the shop said to me "Man, if that isn't ironic." Two cogs that most likely lead to the ultimate collapse of our year, on one card. AHHHHH, only a few more games to go. It's a nice addition to my Hurri-Den, and goes nicely with the other jersey cards I have.

Wow...that card is cool Aaryn. But... (insert Twilight Zone theme here) :eek2: regarding what a weird coincidence that is too.

That card is sweet. The only one I have ever gotten like that is a Practice worn Joe Thornton card.

Nice card, though!

I have a Hasek one where it has a piece of the jersey and a piece of wood from the stick.
