I just registered and I wanted to say hi. I'm a long time reader of this forum and a Canes fan from way back when they were the Whalers in the WHA. I have followed them from back when they used to visit the Alberta Oilers in Edmonton, through their acceptance in the NHL and through their move to Carolina. The Hurricanes game in Edmonton once a year (schedule providing) is usually the only game I make it to in the year. Watching the Oilers and their play only when I feel like it attitude has never been my style. I have finally decided to log on here so I can make my feelings known about the Canes and their happenings. Hopefully, after last nights game, I can give them some luck.

I must say how happy I am to still be seeing new members here considering the turn last season took and the way this season has looked. I'm so glad we are all such loyal fans!!
