In my Yahoo public league, i am the proud owner of (RW's Jeff O'Neill/Martin St. Louis/Marian Gaborik) & (C's Steve Yzerman/Matt Cooke/Radek Bonk).
I've been offered C Pavel Datsyuk for Gaborik.
If you were in my Ten and a Halfs, would you take it or laugh in the guy's face? For what it's worth, there's very little available on the FA wire.

I have both of them, in one league or another.
and I keep hoping Gabby is going to get it going. He hasn't yet. Sure, he probably will... but at this point, Datsyuk is 10x the point producer. I've been pretty happy with him.
I don't think I have an answer for you. I guess it's mainly going to be the old question of 'current producer' vs 'potential producer'. /shrug.

Thanks dude. I ended up figuring i already have a Detroit center on my roster, so i turned the guy down. Hopefully it won't bite me in the arse later this season!

Just read this one Mo, as I don't make it over here much anymore.
I just wanted to say: MAKE THE TRADE!!!
Kidding you as obviously it is a lot easier to say that now than a month ago. I'm sure you will being kicking everyone's arse like you do to me by the end of the year anyways.

yeah, I finally gave up on Gabby and waived him. hard to believe.
holdouts just destroy some people. I'll be surprised if he hits 40 points this year.

I'll worry about kicking everyone else's arse later. For now, i'm still kicking my own for turning down the trade.

Okay, I just recently lost Palffy for the season, and I need some firepower other than Naslund, so this guy in my officepools.com league offered me:
Markus Naslund (VAN) 43 games played, 22g, 27a, 49pts, +19, 32PIM, 3PPG
FOR
Martin Straka (just traded to LOS) 40 games played 10g, 13a, 23pts, -18, 20PIM, 2 PPG
AND
Vincent Lecavalier (TAM) 41 games played 13g, 10a, 23pts, -3, 25PIM, 2PPG
Considering I'm in 9th out of 10, and haven't made a serious push up yet (I've moved in and out of 8th place, but nothing higher), I'm seriously considering accepting this to shake things up, and hoping that maybe Straka plays better in LA, and Lecavalier plays well (but at the same time hoping for Tampa's demise).
Thoughts??? Please help!!

It is a fair offer, but I wouldn't do it. LA is going down, especially now that Ziggy is hurt. I think Tampa is due for a big downturn, also.

Definately keep Naslund! Doesn't matter if people are hurt or not.
