to be fair, there was one thread on Clay Aiken. considering the other trash that gets posted on that board, it is pretty low key IMO. Welcome to LGC though ;)

Welcome to this board! Never had any problem with u on ch.com, or anyone else for that matter! The thing is that we all support the same team, we all want the same thing (sounds a wee bit like a Belinda Carlisle song, don't it?) so if harsh words are ever used at least I (and I know I probably don't speak for all) don't ever take it personal...

hope to see you soon on the boards! heee ooooo!

:D

I'm not a Clay Aiken fan, though I do think he is a good person. I was however, surprised at how many of our cheers those Claymates knew, and when to cheer. Very pleasantly surprised.. followed up by pissed that we lost such a great opportunity to convert new fans by playing terrible hockey.

p.s., funniest thing I heard tonight.. we had a Clay family next to us and after the first period the dad exclaimed "wow, I am actually having a lot of fun watching this hockey, we should get more tickets" to which his teenage son replied "Yeah but there is only 1 month left in the season and all teh games are sold out"

He was confused....that's Panthers football. ;) (and even that's not accurate)

I got a "Why are they booing the goalie" when Weekes was introduced. :D

sorry, can't say as I did.. we only get up at the start of each intermission, never during play, and they still couldn't move all of their food and purse from the aisle or stand so I about broke my neck on the two in's and out's. I'll be sure to tell the next people who come though ;)

We had some Clay fans sitting behind us. My favorite comment "why is it so cold in here?"

We had a kid behind us - no clue if he was a Clayniac or not, but he was calling for penalty shots the whole night. It was actually kind of fun.

someone down near Mona had a sign that said "Jesse's hits are prettier than Clays". lol

I actually chuckled when I saw that one in the 1st period. But that was the person that refused to put it down when asked during the 2nd intermission performance. No concern for the people whose view she might have been blocking while she stood and held it.
