Thanks for the heads up!
For 96 Rock night #1 I brought 15 people. That number looks to grow for tomorrow night's game! I hope the house is a-rocking, and I'm looking forward to seeing Tootoo play.

So just how many of these 96 Rock Nights will there be this season? I'll have to skip Wed. due to work but would love to take a $10 ticket!

Doesn't look like Tootoo will play.
If Predators Coach Barry Trotz follows his recent pattern, then Jeremy Stevenson will be in the lineup tonight while rookie Jordin Tootoo sits.
The coach played Stevenson the last two road games and Tootoo in the same spot the last two home games.
''There's been a little bit of a method to that,'' Trotz said. ''Toots has the ability to stir emotions, and when we were coming back from a road trip, I wanted to guard against a lapse at home.
''So I wanted to light a fire under him (by scratching him on the road) and maybe play him when he can light a fire under the team.
''Stevenson's probably a sounder guy all-round, but I thought we might be looking for an emotional edge, and Toots can give you that.''
Trotz said he'll also consider using both Stevenson and Tootoo alongside Vern Fiddler, while sitting Jim McKenzie.

Indeed you're right...
My work schedule this week? Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. When do the 'Canes play? Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Needless to say, I can't pick and choose my schedule.

There are a total of 4 nights, 2 having taken place already (San Jose, Nashville). The remaining dates are Jan 23rd vs. the Islanders, and March the 2nd vs. the Blue Jackets. Tickets go on sale 96 hours in advance of the game (96, get it?) and there are 960 total tickets available for the $9.60 promotion. The Jan 23rd game is especially interesting, since it's a conference game, it's on a weekend, and it's just after my birthday, too!
Tip: you can get the discount at the RBC Center as well and avoid the $3.50 per ticket and $3.50 per order Ticketmaster charges.

Thanks for the info, caveman! I'm gonna put those on the ol' calendar.
But tell me this... 96 rock broadcasts on 96.1, so it would seem logical that there would be 961 seats availabe at $9.61, instead of 960 at $9.60...unless they're only hyping the 96 part of the station...
Twisted.

normally the two sections for 9.60 tickets are the 'endzone' tickets. tell ya what.....
there were 10 people (max) in each of those two sections. if you can't sell tickets that cheap, you have a problem. let's see if anyone cares.
fyi- most of the upper deck was empty. 6 sections completely empty. most others with under 20 in them.
most of the 2nd level was under 20 per section, with 5 empty sections. some empty suites as well.
1st level was pretty sparse. some sections with only a handful of people.
