EXACTLY...and what's up with the Storm Squad and Mighty Mights pictures?? The little guys are cute but they look all the same. I want to see some more action shots with our guys and less pictures of kids in the crowd with the wigs...that doesn't tell me anything about the game !

Oooo...I forgot about the Mighty Mite and Storm Squad pics. You're right, those are definitely unnecessary. As for fan pics, I don't mind them, though I know there not being any would make more room for Cane pics. But then again, being one who got her picture in the photo gallery for the 10/28 game against San Jose, I'm admittingly a little biased. :p :D ;)

You know, many many moons ago, when RIO was just a little squaw, she went to the beach with her sister and her best friend. Well, we were all giddy 13 year olds at the time and thinking we were totally HOTT STUF (as most 13 year olds do), so when we went down to the beach that night for a pleasant (guy-hunting) stroll, Sis dares BF to jump into the water with all her clothes on. BF says "NO WAY, JOSE!" and Sis says, "Yuh-HUH!!" and BF says "Nuh-UH!" and Sis finally throws her hands up and says "FINE! I'll go first, then you have to!"

So the plan was made. Sis takes off her gong-sized, 99 cent earrings, puts them in her pocket, and wades in. Giddy 13 year olds that we were, we laugh and laugh and shake our heads. That crazy Sis!! (The earrings rusted in her pocket later) So, as a point of honor, BF wades in too. Up to her neck.

"Go under!" we both shout at BF. So she does. She comes back up soaking wet... except for her bangs which were sprayed so firmly in place with Aqua Net ( it was a "two can" night for cruising purposes... gotta look TUFF, ya know). Her hair was actually repelling water like plastic. BF had to go under the water atleast three times before her Jersey Girl bangs would even remotely lie flat.

The moral of this story: Aqua Net could be used to stiffen the space shuttles. Someone should alert NASA.

I found it while actually surfing for images of hockey players for a project I was working on. The site is as it says (when it's working) it's a site for gay sports fans. Apparently they like Jagr ALOT because there are a lot of pics of him! It seems like Naslund was up there as well as Bertuzzi. Some of the shots were really cool, like the one of Jagr on a farm pitching hay with his shirt off (back in his long hair days). I think Rod was up there too, but I can't recall since I only went to the site once.

Speaking of Bruno and butt's, I got my own little funky dance from Markov and Bruno in the dressing room during the Skate with the Canes...wow :eek2: I looked exactly like this, until I realized I was starring at Bruno's butt that he was dancing and shaking around for us...then I turned red...O was laughing the hardest at the show...most of it's a blur, but I know my mouth was hanging open for a few seconds. I enjoyed the Forslund Focus on Danny last night...I already had my suspicions as to what kind of character he is..kissing Staal, and some of the crazy things he does in practice and at SWTC....what a great addition to our team...and he even plays pretty good defense too! ;)

My husband took our daughters and a few of their friends to one of the recent practices. The highlight of their trip is when Ronnie smiled and winked at our younger daughter. She was thrilled. The players were very attentive to the girls (5 of them) - chipping the pucks and smiling. Aaaahhhhh to be young again ;)

Awesome pic of Bruno!! And I agree with everyone else I think Bruno would enjoy that pic!! It is so funny how aware Bruno is of the people taking pics of him even though he doesn't show it all the time. He loves the camera and the fans. One thing I noticed from meeting him many times here and I always got a pic whenever I could with him..he loves to wrap the arm around you like he has known you for years...lol...does anyone notice that too?

They probably still think were nuts for going to Atlanta....they were happy enough on the bus, but maybe that was because they were heading home. I had fun and would love to do a large group like that again. Maybe next time we should get our own bus for the trip?!
