I'm new too

Hi everyone!!!
I'm usually a "reader" and not a "poster", but I thought I'd introduce myself anyway. I am an almost 40yo transplant from upstate NY who has been watching hockey and college basketball (go Syracuse) my whole life.
Unfortunately, my husband and son are not Atheletically inclined , but we do love our 'Canes!!! I have defected from the CH.com site (do you have to ask why?) and found a nice place to read about the canes without a lot of junk. I tried ice skating again last spring after a 14 year break . I was sorely (and I mean SORELY) disappointed that I could only last 30 minutes on the ice without collapsing! However, I did not fall!!! I may try it again, or maybe not. I have been to a few games this year, but I mostly watch them on TV (including the digital ones-I 'm seriously thinking about center-ice pkg. from TWC). I've also been to a couple of practices at the Rec-zone. I've probably seen a few of you there without knowing who you were. Maybe I'll get up enough nerve to introduce myself sometime. Y'all seem like a decent group of people who unconditionally love the 'Canes. Keep up the good work!!!
