Don't laugh! :D
They always come out wrong in the washing machine, so I figured the dishwasher may work better. Anyone?

Never tried it, but I would guess top rack only?
I hope you are talking about Keds or something and not dress shoes ;)

I don't wear Keds, and I don't have a daughter (or any kids for the matter), but they are leather athletic shoes. I will go for the top rack, and if they break, you owe me a pair of shoes! ;)

Can you wash leather shoes? I thought you could only wash canvas...
I think they sell special cleaning fluids for athletic shoes, maybe that would be a better option!

I am working my first game since the incedent tomorrow night. If I ever think I am falling again, I will be sure to keep my head up!
Thanks for asking!

You could make a lot of money if you could teach Eric Lindros how to do that!

hhhmmm, "leather" and "dishwasher" really do not go together at all. I wouldn't recommend trying it if you like the shoes. It is great for ball caps though!

If you can cook a fish in the dishwasher, you just might be able to clean shoes in it. If it works let me know, I might have to try that sometime. :spin:

Yeah-- there's something about "dirty shoes" and "dishwasher" that just don't go together. :p
But while we're on the subject of using things in unexpected ways. Have any of you ever made a grilled cheese sandwhich by wrapping it in foil and ironing it on the "cotton" setting? That was a biggee when I lived in a dorm in college. :)

It worked! I just had to dry them in front of the fan for about 6 hours.
BTW, I never use my dishwasher since it is just me here, so I do not have to worry about the dirt, just the person who moves in after me! :D
Really, it is clean. ;)

I remember that...one of my favorite episodes "Tool Time"-wise. I don't envy the one/s having to clean the dishwashers Tim used... :D
