I'm specifically looking for the old 8x10 photos the canes used to sell at the eye stores until the last few years. i specifically want Curtis Lescychyn in his away red jersey from the first year in raleigh (with the raleigh patch), Darren Langdon wearing a white jersey with an upside down crest (He and Josef Vasicek were the only two canes to ever wear a jersey with this error). If you have either I would be forever grateful!!!!

During the season that Langdon and Vasicek first started in the hurricanes (the trade and vasicek's move up to the bigs happened the same year) there was a rush to get their home jerseys made for their first home games. The jerseymaker screwed up and put the canes jersey crest upside down and backwards with the red on the right and the black on the left. They wore it for the first several home games of the season. I asked Wally Tatomir if the story was true after a game and he confirmed it. I showed him a jersey I had just obtained with a set stamp and the crest backward, and he confirmed that it was indeed the jersey. Langdon likes his fight strap shortened a certain way, and Wally pointed out his work to me on the jersey. It's got all the neck pulls and tears you would expect from Langdon making his first few fights for the canes. So I'm the lucky guy who owns the jersey! One fan told me he bought a pic of him wearing the jersey and thought it was mirror image at first. He wouldn't part with the pic. I really want to get my hands on one :sad:

I also saw vasicek's jersey auctioned of at kids and community as "collector's dream" because of the error. I wonder who got that one.

I have extras of the 2000 gameday program with O'Neill on the cover. I might also have an extra 00-01 team picture, but would have to check.

I need the 2000 training camp guide with Tanabe on the cover. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you? I remember buying 5 of them (I always buy 5 of the training camp guides since they're only a buck), but can't find any of them.

It's the only Hurricanes book I don't have (unless they printed a 97-98 end-of-year guide that I've never seen).

There is of course one given out by the Canes* featuring him, and then there is another one that was given out by the Pens in 2000(?) for a Penguins "Millennium Team" deal. What I want: any 03-04 Topps C55 game used jersey cards or autographed cards EXCEPT the Hurricanes (already have them), Henrik Zetterberg, and Jarome Iginla (already have theirs). Or any game used/auto canes cards that I don't have already, or an Eric Staal Heroes and Prospects 04-05 card
