well, Tommers, if I had my druthers, I'd go for salt and vinegar, though I really just stick to plain.

UTZ Salt and Pepper...Mmmmmm...chips...
Nice! Whenever we go up to visit all my relatives in Penn, we come back with tons of those!
My dad also loves the chips (but mostly pretzels) from Hammonds, in Lancaster, PA... if you're ever in that neck of the woods, it's behind what looks like a civil-war era house, but it's really just their offices or something; but you can go in, watch them handmaking the pretzels and putting them in the oven, and they let you try a pretzel fresh and hot out of the oven!!! It's great!

Yeah---Krispy Kreme is in a whole nother league...Like comparing apples and oranges...Nothing beats KK, except maybe Sheetz (Northerners would know what I mean!)
Never heard of Hammonds...But Benzels in Altoona, PA has the same set-up where you can tour the factory.

I picked regular but on a side note, here's my vote for WORST potato chips.......FRIED CHICKEN! I believe it was by Ruffles and I found them to be simply AWFUL! It felt like I had gone out to KFC (or Bojangles), bought a large bucket of fried chicken (possibly 24 piece bucket) then meticulously cut off every bit of skin on each piece of chicken. These chips tasted like I then took that skin and shoved all of it in my mouth at once....... HORRIBLE!

Fried Chicken and Crab flavored chips?! Well, there could be worst flavors...not meaning to somewhat go off-topic here, but did you guys know that the following flavors of ice cream exist?
Vegetable (I'll never forget a What's My Line episode I saw on Game Show Network one day when I was bored where they had a guy on who worked for a company that made different vegetable flavored ice creams. His claim was that it was to help kids eat their vegetables...)
Ketchup
Mustard
Wasabi/Horseradish
Fish
Shrimp
Octopus
Squid
Crab
Eel
Chicken Wing
Ox Tongue
Fried Eggplant
Cactus
Don't believe me on some of these? Check it out for yourself...
http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/japano/0207/ice-cream/1.html
BTW, I'm surprised that chicken flavored chips taste bad...ever had Chicken In A Biskit crackers? Those ROCK! (insert drooling emoticon here)

yucca is a cactus isn't it? I've had yucca fries and they rock! When I worked at TCBY as a teenager, we had tofu frozen yogurt

We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch the other day and laughed when we saw the Charlie's Chips.

I had to put my vote in for Sour Cream and Onion, even though I can't have them anymore ( not to mention they always made me belch like a maniac anyway :p ).
When I was in school in Ulster, I was pigging out on these oh-so-tasty chips ~ they had an odd name, but they were kinda sweet tasting, so I didn't bother to figure out what they were until a friend of mine recoiled at the sight of me eating them and said " EWWW! Jenny! " I said, " What?!" She then proceeded to inform me that PRAWNS were shrimp, and therefore my chips were shrimp cocktail flavored. :P blech! I spit them all over the room in a very dignified, very lady-like gesture. ( I'm sure my friend wished she had told me from a greater distance ) Ahhhhh, how I detest seafood.

I haven't been able to find them outside of Manitoba. So good....
Okay, I just thought of this (almost one-year-old) post today! Believe it or not, they now have ketchup flavored chips in the vending machine at school... I distinctly remembered this post, StormShaman, and I had to try them, and damn, they were good! Thanks for the tip!

Oh gawd, aren't they? When I was in high school I used to put ketchup on my chips, and everybody thought I was weird for liking it (not that I'm not weird, but you get the idea). Then I took my first trip north of 49 and discovered them in vending machines there, and fell in love.
