I don't care if he won the NCAA Championship every year, his behavior on and off the court as well as how he treats his players is totally unacceptable. He may have cooked his goose for good this time.

I (as well as quite a few) fully agree...at the time Knight was fired by Indiana, they had a poll somewhere asking "Would you want your child to be coached by Bobby Knight?". And an overwhelming majority answered "No", which really didn't surprise me. As Mona somewhat said, I don't care about what a huge legend Knight is, the dude is obviously a mental case. Still shocks me to this day how Knight was never really punished for the infamous chair throwing incident...

FYI - there's a Texas Tech alum amongst us....
Knight is quite the conundrum. He's got so many great points, and a few real bad ones. Am I happy that his presence has earned gobs of money for the school's general scholarship fund? Absolutely. Am I happy that his presence at the school gets us on ESPN very often simply because he is the coach and the media wants to be present for the next outburst? Absolutely. Am I happy that his presence in the athletic department has dramatically increased the graduation rate of men's basketball, and has helped in generating a strongly upward trend in graduation rates among all athletes? Damn straight.
Does he make me cringe about three times a year and make me feel he gives my school a bad name? Yes - most definitely. Do I think the media baits him into "a story"? Oh, yeah. Do I think he has an anger management problem? Without a doubt.
Is Andre Emmett a better player because he is there? Without question. Do the overwhelming majority of his players support him and his coaching techniques? Absolutely.
Most importantly, would I want my son to be coached by him? Hmmmm....
I've got at least 8 years to figure this one out. :-)
