Took me a minute, cuz it's on the left. ;)

A tiny bit OT, but did anyone else (other than me) take photos of the various signs on buildings and businesses during the playoffs in '02?

I even have a photo of an SUV in front of us driving to the ESA to watch Game 1 of the SCF (on the jumbotron). It had "Crazy Caniac Needs Stanley Cup Ticket Call 555-5555" on it, written in shoe polish (or something similar). It's in my scrap book. Ahhh, the memories.

I even have a photo of an SUV in front of us driving to the ESA to watch Game 1 of the SCF (on the jumbotron). It had "Crazy Caniac Needs Stanley Cup Ticket Call 555-5555" on it, written in shoe polish (or something similar). It's in my scrap book. Ahhh, the memories.

Well... it wasn't my SUV, but mine was painted up pretty good w/my rendition of the Cup and Let's Go 'Canes! on the back window-- and on the side windows I had the names of all the players. Got lots of honks!

I took pictures of all the statues around the Capital, wearing jersies.

The memories are right.. I have seen celebrations for a lot of different things but I have never seen an entire city so caught up in anything as much as the Stanley Cup run. I work downtown and to go to lunch and see the statues in Canes' jerseys and see the Canes flag flying over the Capital was wonderful.. :sad: I hope we get to experience it again. **sigh**
