I predict that Staal is going to grab 2 goals and an assist at the young guns game. I hope he does well because if you think about it, doing well and scoring may awaken him and he can carry the momentum into the rest of the season. And scoring more goals for us would help a great deal. So I hope he does well and shows us off well.

Roy must've taught Sauve how to make a super-speed kick save when you're hopelessly out of the net. However, he didn't teach him how to keep from being TOTALLY BURNED on a deke to the blocker side...probably because Roy used to get burned all the time during the Breakaway Relay low to the blocker side.

the only thing about that is Staal looked better than Malone (even though
both scored)...so hearing Malone alot more really pissed me off!! How
unacceptable is that?????? And you would of thought another of the bozo's
would of caught it and said something!!

Man, I was so annoyed with Thorne ... it'd be one thing if they were wearing jerseys that looked kind of similar, but c'mon! Get your eyes off your roster and on the ice!

IMO, no doubt that Stall was the East's best skater and Zherdev's the West's ... two real amazing talents.

I happened to catch a little segment on TSN at the intermission of a game this evening. It was a light hearted piece and Eric Staal was interviewed. The schtick was just how young these guys are. Staal was very comfortable and clever, seemed very at ease kind of goading this guy and playing along with his schtick.

What a great kid. I like that the Canes haven't put pressure on him to market/promo the team, but I'm looking forward to the time that they do and he starts to spread his wings a bit. :D
