Tomorrow..

When I woke up this morning, I was feeling very sad thinking about the season ending tomorrow..and I just wanted the guys to know what they mean to us...so I sent the Canes a note on their homepage from all of us...here it is.. :cry:

Please share this with the ENTIRE team and staff..

As the season comes to an end tomorrow, there will be lots of different emotions going on with each of us...mainly, sadness and pride. We all know at this point, you guys are bruised, beat up and just worn out and are ready to have some time off. We, on the other hand, are sad because all of you have become such a part of our lives, you feel like family. There have been many disappointments this year, but we have never been disappointed in YOU. With all the injuries, close losses and bad calls, it has been a really hard year. For all of us that were at the airport last night and for all those that wanted to be, we would just like to say thank you!! We all had to chuckle at the look we got from all the "Baby Canes", as we have all come to know them, as they passed by...all we can say to them is ...guys get used to us..we are in it for the long haul!!

As you all make your way to the benches and the ice tomorrow..whether you are playing, taking care of equipment or medical needs, please know how much love, support and respect will be in that arena and in many homes watching. As you go in so many different directions, we hope that God will keep you safe in his care until you return "home" at summer's end.

mona, what a wonderful note. nothing like :cry: first thing in the morning. :sad: i know the guys realize how much of a disappointment this season has been and appreciate the fans sticking with them. tomorrow is going to be emotional, whether we get a win or a loss. i know i'll be there tomorrow with my full support and a sign saying THANK YOU. and thank goodness for the Canes; we're so fortunate to have a team that we can let mean so much to us. :)

The players know we're still behind them, as was evident by Hill's quote in today's N&O. It's important for them to know that as hopefully we all blow the roof off of the RBC center tomorrow. It'll be an awfully long offseason and win or lose tomorrow (PLEASE WIN!!!!) we want the players to know that we're behind them.

I can't wait till tomorrow.
