Hello to everyone! Thanks for posting some of your old nick's over at CH, I do recognize quite a few of you. :)

Getting ready to head up to WV for a little snowboarding, so I won't be posting for a couple days. I'll be back next week though and ready to talk hockey with all you fine people.

Well, made it back from WV with all my bones still in one piece! Actually had some decent snow on the east coast for a change.

Moonstomper-AKA the infamous Rudeboy! Good to see you man. You and you're bro still skating at Marsh Creek?

RaleighCanesFan-Only skated a couple times out there since last summer. Played summer league at the Iceplex, was going to do fall league but had my good knee taken out playing pick up one night and spend about 6 weeks rehab'ing it. Skated a few times over the holidays but I'm planning on getting back to at least 2x a week on ice. I'd like to get back out to Marsh creek though, can't skate enough as far as I'm concerned. :cool:

Not sure what you mean, but I'm guessing your wondering if I'm a Tolkien fan. And the answer is: Not really. ;) I read the Hobbit when I was a kid, but that was about it. The movies are cool but you're not going to find me running around any movie theaters weaing elf ears. ;) As for where the name comes from, well that will just have to remain a mystery for the moment...buhahahahaha! :evil:

As for history, Tlokein is the only name I've ever used on the net so if you play any wargames (Close Combat, Op Flashpoint) you may have seen it around.

Ok, so RIO=ShatnerAteMySocks, guinevere=skitsbits, and I think I recognize Vandycane, Corylav, O's numba1, shell, Stormbringer, and last but certainly not least, SHC. :D Apologies to any that I've missed.

Well go out there every now and then on a Saturday. Mainly we play at Dreamsports in Apex. They have pickup on Sunday mornings. Well play at the Sportsplex in Morrisville every now and then too. We played at Jellybeans last night, its supposed to be for leagues, but they let rink rats in too.
