I realize David's "natural" death really isn't necessarily that note-worthy when our soldiers are dying "unnatural" deaths while serving our country, but I must admit I was very stunned to hear of it this morning.
Of the "embedded" journalists, I became very fond of David Bloom's reporting.

Wow! I am amazed...I thought he was one of NBC's best reporters previous to going to Iraq. His time there only strengthened his credibility.

Oh man, that is rough.
When I saw that I just kinda sat there, stunned. Thanks for your reporting, David, you were great.

Yeah, when my husband mentioned it this morning I was stunned, thinking he was kia, but after hearing it was a "natural" death, I do admit that I was extremely sad to hear of his passing. NBC/MSNBC has become my network(s) of choice and his passing was so unexpected (he was the same age as my husband and myself).

I was so sorry to hear about David Bloom's death. I really enjoyed his reporting and also the lighter stories he did on Today. He apparently was also a loving husband and father of 3 little girls that he adored.
my thoughts and prayers are with them.

he seemed to be the most "real" reporter out there .... just a normal guy
My condolences to his family
