Hey guys! :spin:
I know I got the red carpet treatment once already and its been forever since I actually been able to get on here and converse, but I'm back for good! The News and Observer forum is either too pessimistic or just plain slow with things to discuss so I need to be here among all my fellow Caniacs to have more to share and debate about more often! It has been so hectic with school and work, but I'm just glad to be back with you guys... (I also need to be moseying back to Metroboards too, among others lol..:) But I think this one might just steal the main title away from the N&O forum as in places i haunt more often...this one seems more upbeat and definitely has more of my "family" to be around! :D

Well, welcome back again!! Sometimes the N&O drives me up a wall as well (I'm SHC over there too, in case you weren't aware). This place is definitely my favorite and definitely because of the family like atmosphere! You'll love it here!

LOL. Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll be happy here, and looking forward to the Canes talk! :) I have a thing for dysfunctional families too....LOL so I'm sure I'm not alone in that!
Hey SHC!!! Hey JeffORocks! I've known you both for a while! :) I HAVE told too many people about my Canes patriotism lol. In facta year ago, my project for my senior year in high school for one of my creative writing Lit classes was to make a population of people. So I made a map of Raleigh and I made the Canes fans a population, complete with all characteristics and sub-races and stuff. It was FUN and people gave me tons of crap about it, but they all should have known my loyalties because I wear my Canes jersey EVERYWHERE up here, and believe me, I get called a traitor galore...haaa...But I did get an A on the project, and much to everyone's dismay, I read the 15 page paper aloud, they seemed to like it in the end...even though the teasing never ended lol
Next time the Canes are at the Joe though, I plan to definitely go as a Canes fan....EEEP...I get it NOW, wait till the trouble when I wear my Canes jersey near all the Wings nuts.

I'm so glad you decided to come back. The occasional unbridled pessimism and an almost dogged determination to suck the joy out of good stuff by a few on the N&O make me prefer this board oh so much. (Plus the company is cool :D )
I'm 6strings on the N&O by the way. Yippee!!! Fresh meat. Just don't engage Rio or she'll stuff you in the crotch of a tree.

Rio, and Lady J: aren't those things in yer avatars those freaky, half rat, half human things that sing those kicka** tunes for Quizno's? Not to mention play guitars!!! :D Dude, I just saw some of those commercials while tuning into Center Ice the past few nights, and even though my family was thoroughly annoyed, I laughed SO HARD. Those things are hilarious. Especially with those screetchy voices, I don't think I've ever seen better, or at the same time, more pointless commercials. LOL Strangely, the things are so freakin ugly, they're cute. LOL :evil:

With Rio and J, it is ALWAYS the crotch of the tree and the bridge, day in, day out!! :D No variety when you are snatched by those two!! :p

Yeah, we need to get some variety. It's just that I tend to go with what works. I think we're in a creative rut. :evil:
