Okay, I'll spill my 4th final 4 pick... it's a sleeper... don't laugh...
Cincinnati. Seriously, they had a decent schedule, played consistent, finished up 13th in the AP poll. They've got a 4th seed in a bracket where I think the top 2 seeds will fall. They could play the role that Indiana played the other year.
I picked Syracuse last year, okay? So listen to me!!! :p

Do Canadian colleges have any kind of basketball tournament such as this?

We do, but it's nowhere near as big as this. Evidently, Rogers Sportsnet has been doing a feature on some of the Canadians playing in the NCAA tourney for about 2 weeks now. Brown from UCONN was the player this morning.

State deserved to lose. That was freaking pitiful, that last minute. Why in the whole freeking world would you play Jordan Collins at that crucial moment? Why in the world would you hold the ball that long on the last possession? They held it until 5 seconds left, then tried to break the D, and they didn't have enough time. Pitiful.

I saw the funniest thing at Crabtree Valley Mall this past Wednesday...there are some anti-Dook shirts on display in the front of a sports fan gear store. My two favorites were a shirt that looked like a genuine Duke shirt, except it said "Puke"; and an UNC shirt that said "Friends don't let friends go to Dook.". :D
I used to have an UNC shirt that said on the front "For cryin' out loud...", and had on the back a picture of a VERY ANGRY baby and "I'm NOT going to Duke!". Unfortunately, I somehow ripped one of the sleeves on that shirt. I need to see if anyone is still selling that...

If that game was 3 minutes longer, Tech woulda won. I don't see why they waited until like 45 seconds left to start fouling. If they had started a minute or two earlier they could have gotten it down to 2 or 3 points; they were just dropping three's all over the place in the last minute or so.

btw, today I heard Rome talking about some excessive celebration in Connecticut... is that true?
I think I saw a headline that said something about 35 arrested in "violent" celebration. Didn't click the article, so don't know the specifics.

Two hours after the women's basketball team won its third straight championship, fans overturned two cars and set one of them on fire Tuesday night at an apartment complex about a mile from campus. There were no reports of injuries.
It was at the same apartment complex Monday night, after the men's basketball team won its second title in five years, where revelers overturned two cars and set several bonfires. Police arrested 35 people on and off campus after the men's game.
