I am new and I still have a lot to learn

:spin: Hi my name is Glo and I am probably one of the oldsters here (well I hope that I am not the only one over 50 here).

I have become a big fan of the Hurricanes - my kids think I am crazy.

But I know very little about hockey - so please don't laugh when I ask dumb questions. I only learn by watching and asking -


I am learning about the players but I do know more about some than I do others.

One of these days I hope to be able to afford to go to a game - but right now I will settle for the TV and the internet.

hey there Glo!! I live wayyy up here in Michigan and will not be attending a game anytime soon in person...so i depend on TV and internet as well...don't feel bad! Nice to have you on the boards....and a lot of the people here are refugees from ch.com. :beatup:

It's definitely not a dumb question, nor is any other thing you may post on here, so no worries... :smoke: you're among family now! :) Those titles are just automatic and correspond with how many posts you have. Like Lowell is lower in the rungs, so it goes along with your few posts. The higher up you go in posts it will automatically upgrade your title, I spose!. Custom ones would be fun, but the titles are pretty cool. :D

But ye, welcome to the boards, theres all ages and types here for the hockey banter! Hope you have as much fun as we do every day! :D

P.S. I'm saving up to go to a hockey game too...if I can, I'll attend one up here in Detroit (I live in metro) or my greater preference is to save up and go down there to the RBC....you guys are so lucky to be down there! :beatup: And as I told everyone else...just call me Amber! :)
