Here's an email I got from our webhost. Hopefully this will go smoothly. It was down all evening yesterday, from what I assume are the errors this is talking about...

TO: All Customers

We are receiving SMART errors on the main hard drive of this machine and will need to swap the drive out with a new one. This process will begin after 11 PM ET tonight. While we will preserve your data and don't foresee any problems, it's recommended to back up any mission critical data you have stored in case issues do arise.

This swap should take approximately 120 minutes, including restoration of operating system and data.

We appreciate your patience.

Most times we have downtime I never really get an explanation. I've just recently started getting these emails even though my email address is correct in the config...

I dunno. :crazy:

The problem is it makes a lot of users mad when it's down, there's nothing I can do about, I get eleventy billion emails, but we pay such a dirt cheap amount for hosting, I can't really complain too much.

It's kind of a catch-22 regarding downtime.

as always, tridead.net is a backup for when this board goes down as well. It is not as clean and family friendly as this board however (I know that will be shocking considering it belongs to me and guyute ;))

Just temporarily, not sure what is up with it. I'd imagine it will be up within the hour

from what they told me, down due to a hack-attempt, should be backup shortly.
