I'm 18 years old young man from Finland, just graduated from high school (Ok, it's not excactly the same system here...). I have played hockey myself about five years in local junior team and I loved it. I haven't been playing hockey for years now but I watch hockey games whenever possible, finnish elite league and world championships mainly.

I discovered the Canes in year 2002 (back when one of the finnish TV stations actually showed NHL hockey live...). I loved the team and watched every game since conference finals. I found letsgocanes.com through a link in the official Canes websites message board and have been lurking here ever since, almost two years!

Hey! I've been to Helsinki-- does that make me extra cool? And by the way.... we flew Finnair, and both my husband and I noticed that that airline has the most beautiful flight attendants we've ever seen-- men and women both!! :kiss:

Speaking of good looking flight attendants....you can say the same thing about Iceland. I saw a group come out of and Icelandair gate in Minneapolis one time. Not too shabby... :spin:
