Defensive rankings of note (remember this takes salary into consideration). Tanabe is the "best value" dman on Canes at 87. Hedican came in dead last (152) in the entire league. Malik came in 14.

Vrbata is our best value forward, Hlavac our worst (they didn't number these in the PDF, and I wasn't going to count).

Goalies? Irbe wasn't last! He value was better than Turek (4mil), Potvin(3.55mil), and Osgood (4mil). Not at all surprising is Turco at #1 (850k).
